Woodside is a large 1930's mock Tudor designed house set in its own grounds surrounded by mature gardens.
It is in an extremely pleasant situation being on the edge of St Austell town, in a pleasant residential area with the sea just a short walk away.

The accommodation:
All rooms are tasefully furnished and decorated with full central heating.
Bedrooms are en-suite equipped with a modern flat screen television with DVD. A selection of DVD's are available if required.
Tea/coffee making facilities are also provided together with a comfortable sitting area.

A pleasant dining area where a full English breakfast is served with various options also available.

Excellent golf course overlooking the coastline just a few minutes walk away.
Pleasant walks along the cliff tops directly from the guest house.
Choice of restaurants/pubs within easy walking distance.
The Tall ships and maritime centre at Charlestown is just a pleasant walk. Charlestown also has a good choice of pubs and restaurants.

The Eden Project is just 10 minutes away
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about 15 minutes.
There are excellent sandy beaches closeby, the nearest being Par, a wide open flat beach and offering very safe bathing.
Other local places of interest an just a short drive away include:
Fowey - a very old town at the mouth of the Fowey estuary
Mevagissey - a popular working fishing village offering a host of little shops, a scenic harbour and excellent boat trips including a passenger ferry to Fowey.
Lanhydrock House - a National Trust country house with extensive gardens and excellent cream teas.
The city of Truro - about 30 mins away with excellent shopping, maginificent cathedral and boat trips down the river to Falmouth

Touring:
Newquay and other north coast resorts are between 30/45 minutes away

Fowey Estuary
