Wisteria
Lodge guest house is an executive style, detached, individual
residence approximately a mile from the St. Austell town centre
located just off the A390 within walking distance to a regularly
run bus stop (every 15minutes).
Within our location there is a lovely country pub Britannia Inn /
Restaurant, also walking distance to beaches such as Carlyon Bay
and an eighteen hole golf course with the historic port of
Charlestown next door. A mile from the Eden Project and five
minutes away by car from the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey Dame
Daphne du Maurier country is just but a stones throw away of
approximately five minutes.
Wisteria Lodge is named after the plant of Wisteria as this grows
all over the house making a very distinctive feature to the lodge.
The grounds of Wisteria are beautiful set in abundance of
shrubbery and peaceful wooded surroundings.

| Wisteria Lodge is now fully licensed and provides candle lit dinners with an extensive menu (why not try our Pan Fried Scallops with Tomato comfit and white bean sauce, Roast Rack of lamb with a "Hotpot garnish", Trio of Salmon, Salmon and chive fishcake, Salmon fillet with basil and olive oil and Smoked Salmon with black truffle dressing, Chicken Breast in cream, wine sauce and fresh asparagus, these are just some of the tempting delights from our mouth watering menu). There
is also a good selection of fine wines to enhance ones enjoyment of
the excellent home cooking. The
traditional English breakfast is also first class, and sets you up
for the day whatever you choose to do.
The accommodation at the Wisteria consists of 2 double
bedrooms and 1 twin/double all en-suite and complete with tea/coffee
making facilities, biscuits, fresh fruit and remote-controlled
colour television, chocolates and flowers, daily newspapers
provided, tourist information and intercom's for room service.
Laundry and ironing facilities are also available.
