Willowbrook is a modern detached chalet-bunalow with a good
sized garden consisting of a large lawned area with mature trees
and shrubs. To one side there is a large pergola, bounded by a
lovely bubbling brook.
The house is situated in the tiny hamlet of Lamorick, which
consists of just a few houses and cottages on either side of the
original London to Penzance Roman coach road.
Just 400 yards from the village of Lanivet where a good evening
meal may be enjoyed in the local pub or in the 'Welcome
Stranger' fish restaurant.
The village also has a general stores, a post office and a
lovely old church.
Also, just 200 yards from Willowbrook is 'The Saints Way', a
walk from Padstow to Fowey.
Just a short drive is the market town of Bodmin and just beyond
that is the wild expanse of Bodmin Moor.

These bedrooms are very convenient for those who find stairs
difficult.

All beds are high quality divans with 'Airsprung' reinforced

A spacious dining room where a full English breakfast is served,
there are various other options available including continental.
Evening meals can be provided if requested in advance.
The dining room may also be used by guests in the evening for
board games, cards etc.
Willowbrook has a large private garden where guests are quite
welcome to sit and relax. A favourite spot is by the brook that
flows past the rear of the house. Please note, there is a drop
of about 5' to the stream bed, children should not be left
unsupervised.

Directions:
Travelling down the A30 towards Bodmin take the exit signs for
the A389 Wadebridge/Lanivet. On reaching Lanivet village drive
through passing the shop and Lanivet Inn on your right. After
200 yards turn left into a slip road, 100 yards you come to a
'T' junction. Turn left, over a narrow bridge and you will see
Willowbrook on your left.
There are brown signs indicating Willowbrook from the slip road
in Lanivet.
Locally:
In the Lanivet Parish Church yard there is a stone to indicate
the precise goegraphical centre of Cornwall, Halfway between
Lands End and the Devon border and halfway between Padstow on
the north coast and Fowey on the south coast.
Willowbrook is just a short walk from the village where there is
an excellent pub for that pleasant evening drink or meal. There
is also a good fish restaurant in the village.
The 'Saints Way' is just 200 yards from Willowbrook making it an
ideal stop-over for those enjoying this splendid walk.

These are just an example of what is available within a short
drive, there is much, much more.
Being in the centre of Cornwall most places can be reached
within an hour's drive, this includes the majority of the north
and south coast beaches, many are much closer, and the whole of
the Roseland Peninsula.
The proprietors of Willowbrook are local to the area and will be
only too pleased to recommend a nice place to eat or visit.
