A small friendly B&B situated between the harbour and the beach
with views over Falmouth Bay. Wickham is conveniently located
both for the beach, 2 minutes’ walk away and for the town,
approximately 10 minutes’ walk. From the beach head off along
the South West Coastal Path and enjoy the views over Falmouth
Bay. From town, take a boat to Truro, The Helford Passage or
Trelissick Gardens and enjoy the tranquillity of the water.
Wickham is the ideal base for exploring Falmouth and South
Cornwall’s gardens, castles, harbour coastal footpath and much
more.
Wickham was designed in 1907 by Ethel Mary
Charles, the first woman to be admitted to the Royal Institute
of British Architects (RIBA). With permission from RIBA a copy
of her original drawings is on display in our hall. Originally
commissioned as a family home Wickham has been run as a guest
house for more than 30 years and has had just three careful
owners in that time.
