Travelling to Wickham
By Rail – Wickham is conveniently located
approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Falmouth Town railway
station. There are not always taxis at the station. If you
prefer to use a taxi rather than walk please let us know. We can
arrange for one of the local taxi companies to meet you.
By Coach – The coach stop is in the centre of Falmouth, just
above the taxi rank. It is a good 15 minutes’ uphill walk to
Wickham from the coach stop and we recommend that you use a
taxi.
By Road – When you reach Falmouth follow the signs for the
beaches and the docks. A local map is reproduced here to guide
you. We do not have any off road parking but Gyllyngvase Terrace
is a quiet residential terrace with no parking restrictions.
There are usually parking spaces on the terrace or on the
adjacent Gyllyngvase Road. We have some off road space for motor
cycles and bicycles and bicycles can be chained to the wall for
security.
On foot – Many of our guests arrive on foot
having walked part of the South West Coastal Path. We are only 2
minutes’ walk from Gyllyngvase Beach.
