The Situation

Situated at the head of the Lizard Peninsula in unspoilt countryside with panoramic rural views.
The picturesque village of Penarth and Stithians Lake are within a short drive.   All essential supplies can be obtained nearby.

The Accommodation

The Old Tack Room

The Tack Room here at White Alice is attached to the main farmhouse and consists of lounge, kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom complete with shower. It is warm cosy and equipped to a very high standard.

Quiet, idyllic accommodation for a couple.

Attached to the main farmhouse but with its own separate entrance porch and fully self contained.

Ideal for a couple, it has a lovely cosy lounge with wood burning stove great on those chilly evenings. A fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker, microwave, electric toaster & kettle, fridge freezer and plenty of pots and pans.

Bathroom with full size bath and shower. Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe dressing table and bedside tables.
The rooms are all centrally heated, and all bed linen and towels are supplied.

TARIFF
Prices range from £200.00 low season to £380.00 during mid summer.
Weekend and Short breaks can also be arranged.

Open plan lounge kitchen and dining room, opening out onto a large balcony with great views over the valley.

HEATHER'S HIDEAWAY AND LILLIAN'S LOFT  Our barn conversions here at White Alice Farm were converted from the old wool barn and now provide comfortable modern holiday accommodation within the curtalage of an historic working farm. Both are spacious light and airy with high vaulted ceilings.

The kitchens are both fully equipped with all electrical appliances, full size electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster plus plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans etc. Tea towels provided.

Each of the bedrooms are furnished with duvets, and plenty of wardrobe space. Bed linen is provided.

The lounges have comfortable sofas and chairs, fireplace with electric fire, colour TV with free view, DVD player and stereo with CD. The background heating is by storage radiators in the lounge kitchen and bedrooms. The barns are well insulated and are therefore very warm.

Outside there is a large garden for lazing around in or playing games, with garden furniture and BBQ. There are plenty of footpaths and fields to explore. There is a wealth of wildlife; rabbit’s foxes badgers and birds of pray for you to look out for. Assisting with the farming activities of the season ongoing at the time of your visit can be arranged.

Heather’s has a large balcony leading from the lounge where you can sit and watch the wildlife or just admire the views. Wonderful to sit with a glass or two watching the spectacular sunsets.

Downstairs there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, irons and ironing boards are supplied for each unit.

We have a shared games room on the ground floor with pool table and darts board.

The light house on The Lizard

A warm welcome awaits you at White Alice Farm.

Many holiday attractions lie within easy reach for those who like to explore.   Only a mile away is the wonderful lake at Stithians, where you can enjoy numerous watersports.   Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing.   It is also a haven for birdwatchers, and there are pleasant gentle walks around the lake and up to the dam.  

After a hard day Touring the area sightseeing, or some frantic activity such as surfing, you can return to the calm of White Alice and enjoy a wonderful Cornish cream tea.   All preserves and cakes are home made, you cannot visit Cornwall without sampling a cream tea just once! 


In the evenings there are many Inns and restaurants nearby, where you will find good food and varied menus, plus a selection of Ales and local cider, why not sample some of the local fish dishes most places have a wide selection on there menus.   Please ask Mick or Sue, they will be happy to recommend places where they have enjoyed good food.

The farm is well situated for travel around Cornwall and for access to both North and South coasts.   Plenty of quiet coves and bays are within easy reach, with safe sandy beaches for adults and children alike.

This is a totally unspoilt part of Cornwall and every effort is made to make your stay a happy one.
