Directions
Via Plymouth - follow A390 passing through Liskeard and
following the road towards St Austell. Approximately 4
miles before Lostwithiel you enter the little hamlet of
West Taphouse. In West Taphouse turn left at the signpost
for ‘Braddock Church. Follow the road for 200 yards and
Wayton Barn is clearly seen.
Via Bodmin – follow the A30 from Exeter to just before
Bodmin. Turn left onto the B3268 signposted Lostwithiel.
At Lostwithiel follow the A390 towards Liskeard. After
about 4 miles in West Taphouse turn right signposted ‘Braddock
Church’. Wayton Barn is about 200 yards clearly marked.

An ideal Touring base with most of Cornwall and some of Devon within an hours drive.
As a guide:
Looe/Polperro - 12 miles. A very popular tourist area with good beach, quaint harbours, excellent walks, novelty shops, fishing.
Lostwithiel - 4 miles. an historic little town set on the River
Fowey. Antique shops, restaurants, pubs, excellent golf club, Restormel Castle, salmon fishing.
Bodmin Moor - 4 miles. Excellent walks and the famous Jamaica Inn.
Lerryn - 4 miles. Picturesque little village set on an inlet of the River
Fowey. Lovely woodland walks, good pub, an area popular with locals.
Fowey - 8 miles. Set at the mouth of the River Fowey, very popular in high season.
Lanhydrock House & Gardens - 3 miles. Very popular with locals and visitors alike. Their cream teas are excellent.
Eden Project - 7 miles. Cornwall’s latest major attraction.
Lost Gardens of Heligan - Tall ships at Charlestown. Both an easy drive.
North Cornwall beaches, Newquay/Padstow - approx. 40 minutes.
Plymouth City - 30 minutes
Dartmoor - 30 minutes.
