Watergate Cottage is a quaint 200 year old cottage nestling in 9 acres of land sitting snugly in a tiny hamlet on the fringes of Bodmin Moor.
It offers excellent value bed & breakfast providing a double bedroom for its guests, with a tea/coffee making facility and television.
A full English breakfast is served either taken in a pleasant dining room or during the summer months on the patio overlooking the garden.
Watergate Cottage is quite small and not suitable for children.
There are no facilities for pets
There is a no smoking policy within the cottage.

Directions:
Follow M5 south until the turn off onto the A30 to follow Oakhampton/Bodmin. Stay on A30 (approx. 45 mins) until Camelford/Wadebridge turn off. Third turning off roundabout to follow sign for Camelford. Follow this road (approx. 20 mins) until you come to a left turn to Davidstow Creamery. It's just before the T-junction that takes you onto the A39. Follow road, over cattle grid until you come to a t-junction, take a right then next left through some trees and over a another cattle grid. Follow this road for about 5 mins. until you come to a small crossroads. Go straight over. Follow road, left at the bottom either over the bridge or through the ford. Carry on driving and Watergate Farm Cottage is at the bottom of the hill to the right of the bridge and stream.
 

 

Brown Willy The Castle Ruins at Tintagel

Locally:
Right on the edge of Bodmin Moor with Roughtor and Brown Willy just 1 mile away and a very pleasant walk across the moorland.
This is a quiet picturesque area in 9 acres of its own grounds with a stream flowing past the bottom of the garden, attracting an abundance of wildlife.
Walking/cycling/horse riding are all very popular locally.
The nearest town is Camelford, just 3 miles away. This offers shopping, restaurants and pubs.
Local popular places include Tintagel and Boscastle which are only a short drive away.
Other popular places within an easy drive include Bude, Port Isaac, Padstow and Newquay.
