Vine Cottage B & B offers a warm welcome to all our guests.
Vine Cottage is an old Mine Captains Cottage and is now a family
run B&B and is about 200 years old. All our rooms are en-suite
and have tea and coffee making facilities and benefit from
central heating.
We have a very comfortable guest lounge , which is light and
airy , has leather settees, large TV, and log fires in the
winter months.
Our guests enjoy a full English breakfast in our traditional
dining room. All our food is locally sourced where possible and
cooked on our Aga.
We have pretty gardens and fantastic views over St Blazey, the
Luxylan Valley and surrounding countryside.
We have a large car park and we offer safe parking for cars and
motorcycles.
We are located on the A390 just outside of St Blazey, the home
of the Eden Project, which is about 3 miles away. The gardens of
Heligon , Lanhydrock and other Cornish gardens are within easy
reach.
Close by we have horse riding stables, places to go fishing and
golf courses. The picturesque fishing villages of Mevagissey,
Polperro ,Looe and the river side villages of Polruan and Fowey
are within a few miles and the nearby Cornish coastline with
beaches and coastal paths is waiting to be explored.
We are about 3 miles from Par train station and can usually meet
our guests from there.

OUR ROOMS
Kayleigh; is a spacious , light and airy room. Very comfortable
wrought iron double bed and pine furniture. It has an en-suite
shower room, Hospitality tray and fantastic views over St Blazey
and the surrounding countryside.
Stacey; is our twin room. Comfortable single pine beds with pine
furniture. It has a shower en-suite, hospitality tray and the
great views over St Blazey.
The old bathroom; is in the oldest part of Vine Cottage and is a
double room.It is a very comfortable room with a wrought iron
bed and pine furniture. There is a hospitality tray and the
ensuite is a lovely bathroom.
Ashleigh ; is also in the old part of Vine Cottage. It is a very
comfortable double room with a pine bed and pine furniture.
There is a hospitality tray and the ensuite has a fantastic
double size shower.
All our beds have deep comfy mattresses, mattress toppers, duck
and goose pillows and quilts and cotton bed linen. We supply
fluffy white towels to all our guests , that are laundered
daily.
We have a no smoking policy , although guests can smoke in the
garden .
TARIFF
£30.00 per person per night, based on two people sharing.
please note there is an extra charge of £15.00 pn for single
occupancy.
1/2 price for children under 10 years old

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
From here you can explore all that Cornwall has to offer quite
easily by car or train, using bike trails or on foot.A local
bike hire shop next to cycle track in Pentewan ,can usually help
with bikes and advice.
By car we are 5 mins from the Eden Project, about 15 from the
Lost Gardens of Heligon and 15 minutes from Lanhydrock House and
its wonderful estate and gardens. At Vine Cottage we are within
easy reach of lots of other fantastic Cornish gardens and
historic houses well worth visiting.
The fishing villages of Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro are
waiting to be explored with great restaurants , fresh caught and
freshly cooked fish pubs shops coastal paths and wonderful
scenery.
The town of Fowey, on the river Foy is a must .Visit Polrun by
passenger ferry or Bodinnick by car ferry or take the passenger
ferry to Mevagissey. Visit the Fowey shops,galleries and pubs
and retaurants or take a gentle stroll through Fowey to the
beach at Readymoney.
From Vine Cottage you can go horse riding ,whether you want a
lesson or to go out pony trekking, we have stables 15 minutes
away by car.
There are golf clubs close by for those who want to spend a day
on the green.
You might want to spend time fishing .Rod hire can be arranged
through Vine Cottage or the local Fishing shop ,who can also
give advice on rods, permits and the best places to go.
Sea fishing trips are usually available in Mevagissey
