Trevenna is a very comfortable detached house,
set in secluded gardens, in a quiet lane in the historic village
of Grampound.
Grampound is found approximately midway between Truro and St
Austell, and 20 mins drive from the north and south coasts, so
we are ideally situated for all the well known tourist
attractions such as the Eden Project, Heligan, and the beautiful
coastlines. There is a pub selling good food, a post
office/village shop, antique and furniture shop and a Chinese
restaurant, all a few minutes’ walk away.

David, Minnie and family assure their guests of
a very warm welcome, with complimentary tea and cakes on
arrival. We are always happy to provide you with helpful local
information and advice, or just a friendly chat! We are seasoned
hosts, having run a successful B and B in France.
We have two double guest rooms – both are light and spacious,
with en suite facilities. A fridge/freezer is provided solely
for our guests’ use, providing complimentary fresh milk and ice
cubes. Soft drinks, mixers and confectionery are also available
via an honesty box. Board games, playing cards, DVDs and books
are available to borrow.
Rooms
Each of our guest rooms has luxurious en suite facilities and
thick fluffy towels, very comfortable beds with crisp bed linen,
toiletries, beverage trays, flat screen TV/DVD/CDs with digital
freeview channels, radio alarms, hairdryers, table and
comfortable chairs. Free wireless internet is also available.
Both guest rooms and bathrooms have recently been refurbished to
a high standard.
Room 1 has the larger en suite bathroom, with bath, separate
quadrant shower cubicle, loo and washbasin, while Room 2 has
quadrant shower cubicle, loo and washbasin. Both bathrooms are
well lit, with space for toiletries, and have large mirrors and
heated towel rails.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served to order in your room. We offer a wide
choice, including the Full Cornish or Continental, homemade
breads, preserves, and American pancakes, and a range of teas,
coffees, fruit juices, and cereals. We strive to use only local
produce wherever possible, and make good use of our own free
range eggs!
Tariff
£65 per room per night with breakfast, 2 people sharing
£45 per room per night with breakfast, single occupant
£15 for an additional child’s bed in the room
First nights stay to be paid in full when booking
Minimum booking of 2 nights in high season (June, July, August
and school holidays)
We accept cash, cheques and major debit and credit cards
Trevenna is a no smoking house, and we regret we are unable to
accept pets.
