Trevadlock Farm is a mixed farm of 450
acres and, along with 11 other farms, is part of the 4000 acre
Trebartha Estate, owned by the Latham Family. We have 150
milking cows, with a flock of Pedigree Charollais sheep; we also
grow about 70 acres of cereals, all of which is used to feed the
cattle during the winter months. We keep all calves either as
replacements for the dairy herd or the bull calves and some beef
heifers are sold as stores in the spring.
Trevadlock Farmhouse offers a wonderful retreat from the hustle
and bustle of city life and you soon become 'transformed' into a
country dweller. Watch the lambs at play in the fields or the
cows being milked or passing by. The views are outstanding and
the atmospheric wilderness of the moors is just minutes away.
On your arrival, a mouth-watering Cornish cream tea of homemade
scones, strawberry jam and local Cornish cream awaits you. Enjoy
it in the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere of the garden, or in
the warmth of the cosy centrally heated dining room.
Before setting out on your adventures round Cornwall, fortify
yourselves with our hearty farmhouse breakfast. Fruit and
cereals, local sausage and bacon with freshly laid local farm
eggs: what more could you ask for to start your day!
Return from your travels and activities to a hot shower and
relax in your room before dressing for an evening meal and a
relaxing drink at our local Inn.
Our family have a long standing reputation for perfection and
hospitality for visitors to this lovely part of the country.
Once tasted, Cornwall draws you back again and again. You will
not be disappointed and will probably join our long list of
regulars who cannot wait to return.

Places To Visit In Cornwall
Both coasts of Cornwall are of course inviting, the north being
more spectacular with its high cliffs, wide beaches and
harbours. The south is mainly more flat, but still has its high
spots, estuaries, sandy beaches and fishing villages. The
countryside excursions are quite delightful towards the coasts,
and if you plan your routes accordingly, you can almost avoid
main roads. National Trust houses, and private homes such as
Cotehele House & Gardens, Lanhydrock House, and Saltram House
maintain historic links.
In this section we have added additional places of interest and
some locations we feel would be of interest that are a bit
further afield, but with careful planning, will provide you with
an enjoyable day trip out.
Saltram House - Magnificent Georgian house with Adam interiors,
gardens and landscaped parkland. Saltram stands high above the
River Plym in a rolling and wooded landscaped park that now
provides precious green space on the outskirts of Plymouth.
Camelford British Cycling Museum - The Museum of Cycling
History.
Cotehele House & Gardens - Enchanted and remote, perched high
above the wooden banks of the Tamar, Cotehele was owned by the
Edgcumbe family for nearly six centuries. One of the
least-altered medieval houses in the country, it contains
original furniture, armour and a remarkable set of tapestries.
National Maritime Museum, Falmouth - Housed in an award winning
building on the Falmouth harbour-side, the National Maritime
Museum Cornwall transports you into the world of small boats and
Cornish maritime history. Ellen MaCarthur's triumphant world
record attempt began and ended at Falmouth, and the 75ft
trimaran B & Q was, until recently, berthed at Port Pendennis
Marina, nextdoor to the museum.
Glendurgan Gardens - Exotic trees and shrubs flourish amidst
open glades carpeted with wild flowers.
Lanhydrock House - Magnificent late Victorian country house with
extensive servants’ quarters, gardens and wooded estate. One of
the most fascinating and complete late 19th-century houses in
England, Lanhydrock is full of period atmosphere. The garden has
a stunning collection of magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias,
and offers fine colours right through into autumn. 900 acres of
woods and parkland with an extensive network of footpaths.
Trebah Garden - One of Cornwall's Great Gardens, rated among the
80 most beautiful in the world. A sub-tropical paradise on the
banks of the Helford River.
Trelissick Gardens - A tranquil garden and estate, renowned for
itsglorious position at the head of Carrick Roads, with
panoramic views down the estuary towards Falmouth and the sea.
Pendennis Castle - Superb views across the Fal Estuary and over
looking Falmouth.
Lands End - A unique, magical place of legend and mystery, with
stunning natural beauty. Undercover exhibitions and attractions,
shopping village and Discovery Trail.

cliffs at Porthcurno, near Lands End. The Theatre hosts a 17
week season of plays and musicals throughout the summer.
Porthcurno Museum of Submarine Telegraphy - Secret Wartime
Telegraph Museum.
Flambards Village - All weather family leisure park with a
unique mix of internationally acclaimed exhibitions, rides,
playgrounds, shows, entertainment, gardens, Victorian village
and Britain in the Blitz.

most enchanting creatures. Europe's leading marine animal rescue
centre.
Paignton Zoo, Devon - Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is an
education and scientific charity dedicated to conserving our
global wildlife heritage and inspiring in its many visitors a
life long respect for animals and the environment.
Pencarrow House - This is the home of the Molesworth-St Aubyn's
and definitely a lived-in house, not a museum! You will see all
the things the family loves best, including their photos, hats
on the classical statues and the grandchildren's toys left
around. A tour with our friendly and enthusiastic guides is a
pleasure not to be missed!
St. Michael's Mount - This magical island has a church, a
medieval castle, an exotic garden and an ancient harbour where
you will find shops, restaurants and an audio-visual
presentation on the history of the Mount.
Charlestown Shipwreck & Heritage Centre - An insight into the
history of Charlestown and shipwrecks. The largest exhibition of
artifacts recovered by divers, on public display in the UK.
