The Situation

Trenance Lodge stands in its own large, beautifully kept grounds overlooking lakes and gardens of the Trenance Valley leading to the Gannel Estuary. It is also adjacent to Trenance Heritage Cottages now charmingly restored to show the way of life in the 19th Century. Add to this a safe car park, a rarity in Newquay, and staying here is a wise choice.
Walking along side the Gannel river is a magical experience - an opportunity to refresh ones soul soaking in the natural beauty and peace. For those who want to play golf, there are good courses close by and endless other sporting activities

The Accommodation
The 5 en-suite bedrooms are lovely, with a subdued decor and well appointed with everything the modern traveller of today would expect. Perhaps what makes Trenance Lodge so very special is the warm welcome from owners Mac and Jennie. Their unpretentious friendly style makes you feel immediately relaxed and ready to take onboard the pleasures that await you here.

Within the immaculately kept Hotel, the Lounge, Bar and Dining Room are beautifully decorated in soft creams and blues making the whole restful and relaxing. The bar is always a popular place for locals and guests to enjoy a drink, mull over the pleasures of the day and discuss the programme for the following day. Trenance Lodge which describes itself as a Restaurant with Rooms is open to non residents and has established a reputation for serving the finest local produce in modern British style by a staff who are both friendly and attentive but not intrusive.

The Head Chef uses his unique talents to combine the natural simplistic qualities of first class produce with sophisticated balanced intricacy, resulting in an absolute culinary delight presented to tempt even the most reserved palate. In short it is just like everything else as Trenance Lodge, first rate and makes dining a pure pleasure.

WISHING YOU A SAFE JOURNEY

Towan Beach and the famous surfing beach at Fistral Bay

Local attractions:

As one would expect from Cornwall's premier holiday resort, Newquay offers something, and more, for everyone.

Seven superb sandy beaches, some just a short walk from the hotel, none are far. Try surfing the Atlantic rollers on the world famous Fistral beach, a quiet bath from the sheltered Towan beach, or explore the massive dunes at Perranporth.

An 18 hole golf course overlooking Fistral beach, several other courses within a short drive.

Water world, a zoo, tennis, fishing from rocks or boat.

Good shopping in the town. Numerous restaurants, tea rooms, take-aways, pubs and night clubs.

Newquay in high season is very lively but there are so many beaches and wide open spaces it never seems that way.
