Tremoor is a
beautiful large house set in tranquil surroundings with
extensive gardens, on a quiet road in the coastal village of
Goonhavern.
Rooms are tastefully furnished, en-suite, tea/coffee making
facilities and colour TV. Ground floor rooms available. Pleasant
guest lounge and dining area overlooking the garden.
Approximatley 20 minutes from the beautiful Cathedral city of
Truro and 10 minutes drive from Newquay - Cornwall's leading
resort.Your hosts are very familiar with the county and have an
association with the Eden project, National Trust and Heligan
Gardens - all within easy reach of Tremoor. Our high standards
of service offerred, are set by what we would expect ourselves.

Tremoor has 4
bedrooms:-
All of our bedrooms are 'themed' and our ground floor Garden
bedroom is dedicated to 'Monet' and has a four poster bed. It is
en-suite as are all of our rooms and has its own seating area.
Our second bedroom, our 'Cornish Garden' room ia a twin room
again with its own seating area and offers a large dressing area
too.
In the main house we offer the 'Van Gogh' room, which has a feel
of the Impressionist era; complete with the sunflowers and his
renowned wicker chair.
Finally, there is a 'Cathedral Room' a bedroom which is bright
and airy with its own ensuite bathroom.
The house is steeped with history, it is of 'Art Deco' design
and offers our guests a high standard of stay in tranquil and
beautiful surroundings. |

Goonhavern is a small quiet village ideally situated for
numerous activities, it provides essential services and a good
pub with good meals. (an easy flat walk)
Just a short drive to beautiful Perranporth. One of Cornwall’s
premier beaches with three miles of golden sands and dunes,
excellent for surfing. Lifeguard service during summer months.
Pleasant town with plenty of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and
speciality shops. Good golf course.
Ten minute drive to Newquay, Cornwalls leading resort. night
clubs, Water World, Zoo, Aquarium, wide choice of beaches, good
shopping, there is something for everyone.
Approximately 20 minutes from the cathedral city of Truro. The
cathedral is not to be missed and the city centre has the best
shopping in Cornwall.
Your hosts are very familiar with the county and are themselves
member of the National Trust, ‘Friends of Eden’ and ‘Friends of
Heligan’. They will gladly recommend places of interest such as
the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and numerous National
Trust properties, all of which are within easy distance of
Tremoor.

Directions
From A30 by-passing the villages of Indian Queens and Summercourt,
Mitchell, up to Island at Carland Cross (Windmill Farm).
Continue on A30 for 1 mile, signpost Boxheater/Perranporth. Turn
right and this leads into Halt Road, past 'World in Miniature'
Tremoor is clearly signposted on the left.
