The Situation

Tregaminion Farm is a traditional working 17th century farmhouse set in a quiet rural location popular with visitors who return on a regular basis year after year.

The Accommodation

The accommodation is pleasantly furnished offering both en-suite and standard rooms each providing tea and coffee facilities.
There is a comfortable guests lounge with television.
A pleasant dining room where unusually a kitchen is available. Guests may cook an evening meal if they so wish. Alternatively there is a large lawned garden with Bar B Q which guests are quite welcome to use.

Pets by arrangement
There is a non smoking policy in the farmhouse
Guests and especially children are invited to visit and feed the various farm pets, these include, ponies, rabbits, chickens and geese.

A good wholesome farm breakfast is served with various options:

Menu
Full Cooked Breakfast
This can include sausage, bacon, tomato, mushroom, hash browns, baked beans and eggs. Eggs can be scrambled, fried or poached. (fresh from the farm)

Vegetarian
This can include tomato, mushroom, baked beans, hash browns and eggs. (scrambled, fried or poached)

Fresh Fruit
A fresh fruit salad can be served with plain or fruit yoghurt, notice is required in order that the fruit may be gathered. The salad can include apple, orange, banana, grapes, pears and strawberries.
Warm stewed fruit and yoghurt, again notice is required in order that it may be soaked and cooked.

Continental
Fresh warm rolls served with a small selection of cheese or jams.

Tea, herbal tea and coffee

Extras
For a lighter or quick breakfast bacon butties, fried egg butties or sausage butties are available. For a cold frosty morning why not try a real farm porridge.


Breakfast can be served to you between 7.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. After this time, cereals, fruit juice and toast are left in the kitchen for you to help yourself.

Packed lunches available at reasonable prices.

Polridmouth beach

Local attractions:

A pleasant 20 minute cross country walk to a quiet sandy beach at Polridmouth. Safe for children to bath, play and net shrimps and crabs in the rock pools.
Close to Polkerris beach, a sandy cove with a good pub with good food on the beach.
A short drive to Fowey, a small fishing port boasting excellent walks views, speciality shops, tea rooms, restaurants, sailing courses, boat trips and fishing. Well worth a visit.
For walkers Tregaminion Farm is on both the Saints Way and the South Coastal path. One night walkers are welcome.
This is Daphne Du Maurier country, her one time home, 'Kilmarth House' is just a short walk away. (not open to the public).
Eden Project - a short drive
Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and numerous other similar attractions are all within a short drive.
Your hosts are local to the area and will gladly recommend places of interest and good pubs and restaurants.
