This is a quiet, mostley level, family-run site for families and mixed couples who do not want discos or similar features.
There are splendid panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Just a few hundred yards down the lane is the SWWA Porth reservoir with coarse fishing.
The site is just off the A3059 (OS 200/864 626) with Newquay and its famous surfing beacheas only three miles away.
A super site from which to tour Cornwall.

The ablutions block contains wash basins with hot and cold watear, showers and flush toilets.
A washing machine is available as is a washing-up sink with hot water.

Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a lead and must not be left unattended or foul the site.

Directions

The map shows where Trebarber farm is located relative to Newquay and the coast.
The recommended route is:
From the A30 shortly after the Bodmin By-pass you will go under an iron bridge (height restricted to 14' 3''). Shortly after the iron bridge you will see a right turn towards St Mawgan airfield/St Columb Major. Take this turning and follow th road to a large roundabout, take the 2nd turning left onto the A3059, follow for about 3 miles and look out for a left turn to Porth reservoir, turn left here for 200 yards and we can clearly be seen.

Towan Beach
Situated within a stones throw of the town centre.
The most sheltered all Newquay’s beaches and the most suitable for young children.
The sand is very smooth and as the whole beach is tidal is very compact and suitable for ball games
A shallow tidal swimming pool (as seen above) is situated under the Island and very popular with children.
Toilets/refreshments/deck chairs available on the beach front.
