First time visitors to Cornwall will be surprised at the quality
and extent of our sandy beaches. They are many and varied ...to
suit every activity ... from the energetic surfers who frequent
the water all year round to the safe stretches of golden sand
suitable for children.
Visit us here in the heart of Cornwall, an ideal place to base
yourself to explore the region. There are many attractions
nearby which will enthral you. From the multi-million pound Eden
Project (free weekend transport) to the quaint havens which dot
the coastline. Charlestown is a working harbour where often
replica square sail ships can be inspected.
The area is steeped in history, smuggling was a major income for
some of the locals in the bygone age. There were also the
wreckers who lured unwary captains onto the rocks. Tin mining
played a big part in the local economy, many of the engine
houses still dot the landscape.
Nowadays the leisure trade is vital to Cornwall and many
businesses have sprung up to cater for the annual influx of
visitors. So even if the weather does not entice you to the
beach there are always plenty of other attractions to keep the
family occupied. We now have bikes for hire at £5.00 per day. We
look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy the great holiday
atmosphere of Cornwall. We include free pick-up from St. Austell
main line station at weekends.
The Bedrooms: Double en suite rooms
finished to the highest standard and includes coffee and tea
making facilities, TV and DVD player where you can take
advantage of complimentary films.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.

The Lounge: If you are feeling like
company there is a large residents lounge with log burner for
those winter nights, a wide screen TV, DVD and stereo. We also
have an area where you can sit and relax with a drink and plan
your next day out.
Smoking is permitted in the lounge area.
Facilities: Topos is situated in a quiet
close with parking facilities and is only a 10 min walk to the
town of St Austell.
For those warm days we also have a secluded deck where you can
sit and unwind ... and for those chilly evenings we have an
outside fireplace which makes sure you get the most out of those
summer nights!
We also have a Sauna for which there is a small extra charge.
Transport can be supplied to and from the rail/bus station and
also to the Eden Project. |
