The Thorncliff Apartments
Situated in the quiet, uncommercialized
hamlet of Mawgan Porth, The Thorncliff
Apartments, nestled high into the cliffs
of Cornwall's rugged and spectacular
landscape, boasts what are arguably the
finest, uninterrupted ocean views in the
county. Mawgan Porth itself is a small
village located on the coast road,
midway between Newquay and Padstow. A
fine sandy beach is just a short stroll
away, as is the main North Cornwall
coastal path along which can be found
for example Watergate Bay to the south
and to the north, the stunning National
Trust's "Bedruthan Steps", both of which
are about a 30 minute walk away, along
one of the best loved stretches of
coastal path in the country.

The Penthouse Apartment
The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 large
doubles (one of which has en-suite), and a
twin, and therefore can comfortably
accommodate 6 adults.
This apartment is not suitable for

There is a house bathroom, a fully equipped
dining kitchen which has all the comforts of
home to include washing machine, fridge
freezer, full sized double oven, microwave
etc., and finally a spacious lounge which
has large screen television, radio and patio
doors which lead out onto a large roof
terrace. The terrace has a dining table and
chairs, panoramic ocean views and total
privacy. The terrace is perfect for 'al
fresco' dining, sunbathing or simply
relaxing whilst watching the tide ebb and
flow.
All apartments come with full gas central
heating throughout and are equally appealing
in winter as in the summer. |
The Garden Apartment
This apartment is ideal for families with
young children. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles
and 1 twin all with en-suite shower rooms
and 4th smaller bedroom with bunk beds, thus
it can accommodate 2 families. The lounge
has patio doors into the garden. It has
fully fitted and equipped kitchen and
benefits from having a sperate dining room.
All rooms with the exception of the kitchen
and bunk room have superb ocean views.
The Deluxe Apartment
Located on the first floor, this luxuriously
appointed apartment has 2 bedrooms. The
master bedroom has an Antique king size
halftester bed, superb seaview and full
en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is an
extra large family room, also with full
ensuite bathroom. The kitchen/diner is fully
fitted & equipped with dining area for 6
people. The lounge has a wonderful seaview
with French doors leading out on to a
private balcony. This is a spacious
apartment which comfortably accommodates up
to 6 people and also links very well with
the Penthouse for larger parties.

Tariffs
The following prices are per week for each
apartment and include all gas, electricity
etc. Duvets and pillows are supplied but
linen is not included as we find many guests
prefer to bring their own, however linen
hire is available at a cost of £10 per
person per week. This includes duvet covers,
fitted sheets, pillowcases, hand and bath
towels, but does not include towels for
beach use.

A deposit of £50.00 per week booked is
required with the balance being due 6 weeks
prior to the date of commencement –
reminders for outstanding balances are not
given and non-payment could therefore be
treated as a cancellation. |

All payments should be made by cheque to Mr.
G. J. Bodsworth. |
|
Deposits are non-refundable. Holiday
insurance is recommended to cover any
losses. Should cancellation occur with the 6
week period prior to commencement, we will
only refund balance payments if the property
can be re-let. |
|
Only those persons listed on the booking
form are permitted to stay in the property. |
|
We accept no liability for the loss or
damage to personal property, nor injury or
loss of life to any member of the party
arising out of or in connection with the
holiday. |
|
The apartments are available from 2pm and
must be vacated by 10am. The property must
be left clean and tidy and in a similar
condition to that which it was taken on.
Whilst we do not take a damages deposit,
please note that all damage and breakage’s
must be paid for. |
|
To make a booking or for Christmas and
late availability offers, please contact us
either by e-mail or telephone and we can
advise you if the dates you are interested
in are available. Should this be the case,
we will forward you a booking form by post
or e-mail, which you should complete and
return along with the appropriate deposit
within 7 days. By signing the booking form,
you agree to be bound by the above
conditions. |
