Within
easy access of Truro City Centre, an ever popular destination for
many visitors to Cornwall.
Truro
may be described as a rural city, it is not large and is best
enjoyed on foot.
Not only has it a magnificent cathedral but there are
excellent shopping facilities, many restaurants, tea rooms, a
theatre (Hall for Cornwall), multi screen cinema, swimming baths
etc.
The
city is on the Truro River with enjoyable walks and wild life.
There are regular boat trips from the quay which follow the
river through some stunning scenery all the way to Falmouth.
Enjoy a few hours in Falmouth before returning on the boat.
Cornwall
is a beautiful county but small, from Truro most places can be
reached within an hour.
It
is only a short drive to Falmouth on the south coast and the north
coast resorts of Newquay and St. Ives.
