The Old Mill House has seven tastefully decorated bedrooms which are all en-suite and equipped with colour TV, telephone/data port, a hairdryer, radio/alarm clock and tea and coffee making facilities. Four of the rooms are overlooking the picturesque garden and three are in front of the house facing the village and overlooking the pretty stream that runs into the Camel Estuary.

As a courtesy to non smoking guests, we have a strict non smoking policy in bedrooms, lounges, The Mill Room and bar/reception area.

 

Our rates are based on a rate per room for two person sharing and is inclusive of breakfast.

The Stone Dresser's Room (double-bedded)

Room Rate £85.00 Per Night

The room faces the village church and offers a panoramic view of Little Petherick creek.  It is our smallest room but has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay including large shower en-suite facilities.  It retains an original mantled fireplace.

This room overlooks Little Petherick bridge and the church. It is a large light and airy room with original mantled fireplace. The room has comfortable and modern en-suite shower facilities.   

The Stable (double-bedded)

Room Rate £85 Per Night

The room is at the front of the house and overlooks the stream and Little Petherick bridge. It has been decorated using genuine artefacts and contains an original mantled fireplace. It is fully equipped with all modern facilities you may need to enjoy your stay.

The Wheel Room (double-bedded)

Room Rate £95.00 Per Night

This room  faces the sun terrace and the wheel. Green colour scheme has been chosen and antique furniture sets the individual character of the room.  Its bright and modern en-suite features a corner shower unit.

The Miller's Room (Super King Size Double)

En-Suite Facilities

The Miller's Room  is our largest room. It is an attractive and spacious room with exposed original beams. You can enjoy the views of the garden and the stream. Its en-suite facility provides both a shower and a bath and has been decorated with a sea theme. For your comfort while sleeping there is a choice of a king size duvet or two single ones.

The Hayloft (King Size Double Bed)

Room Rate £100.00 Per Night

The bedroom is located on the second floor and features exposed beams. A large room offering wonderful views of the garden and the stream for you to enjoy. Its modern en-suite includes a corner shower unit.

The Corn Store (twin-bedded)

Room Rate £95.00 Per Night

En-Suite Facilities

The room is also on the second floor and offers views of the garden and its surrounding  countryside. A comfortable room with exposed beams it also provides modern en-suite facilities with a small window overlooking the church.

During March, April, (excluding Easter & May Bank Holiday weekend ) and October the rates are reduced by £5.00 per room per night.

The minimum age for children is 14 years and we regret we are unable to accept pets.

Local Attractions
There are many idyllic beaches and coves nearby. On the Padstow side of the Camel Estuary are long golden sandy beaches at high and low tide. The passenger ferry takes you from Padstow to Rock in minutes from where a sandy dunes and beaches run for nearly three miles.

Golf is enjoyed the whole year round with courses at Trevose and St. Enodoc nearby. The Camel Estuary is a fine centre water sports and both freshwater and sea fishing are available in the surrounding areas. The coast towards Newquay is renown for surfing.

The surrounding countryside and coastline offer a wealth of interest to ornithologists, ramblers and those who love the countryside and the rugged beauty of the North Cornish Coast.

There are many historic houses, castles and gardens in the area, and the world famous Eden Project is approximately 20 minutes drive away.

The Saints Way footpath, which goes past our gate, takes you along Little Petherick creek, through woods and over fields and hills into Padstow. From there you can join the Camel Trail, a well maintained 17 mile recreation route for walkers and cyclists which follows the old train line from Padstow along the estuary to Wadebridge and through the valley to Bodmin and onto Camelford.
