The Situation
The Lodge is set in its own extensive gardens with far reaching rural views. It is approached by a long sweeping drive with ample space for Parking in the grounds. It is one mile from the beach at Crackington Haven and four miles from the picturesque harbour at Boscastle. It is the ideal base from which to explore the rugged and beautiful coast of North Cornwall.

The Lodge welcomes walkers wishing to stay one night only and offers a pick up/drop off service from the coastal path free of charge. Kit Transfer and early breakfasts available if required.

The Accommodation

The Lodge is a bungalow which is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It benefits from being set in its own extensive grounds with a large sun patio and lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

The accommodation offers one large double bedroom with en-suite facilities. Tea and Coffee facilities and television in room.

There is a very comfortable lounge with television.

A full English breakfast is served (or alternative menu offered) in the dining room which has panoramic views across the valley.

We regret that The Lodge is not suitable for children.

Sorry, there are no facilities for pets.

The accommodation is non-smoking.

Directions
From the A39 Wadebridge to Bude road, take the unclassified road signposted Crackington Haven. Just before Crackington Haven you will enter the little village of Higher Crackington. Take the first on the right after the Post Office (Church Park Road). Follow the lane, again taking the 1st on the right. After a short distance bear to the right and the entrance to The Lodge is immediately on the left.

The area is renowned for its high cliffs, unspoilt picturesque little coves, walking and sandy beaches. Within a mile of The Lodge is one of the most beautiful of these coves, Crackington Haven. It has all necessary facilities, including a good pub/restaurant virtually on the beach.
Within an easy drive:
Bodmin Moor, excellent wild walks and the famous Jamaica Inn
The picturesque little village of Morwenstow with its ancient church and Saxon font
Bude, a major tourist resort, shopping, pubs, restaurants and excellent beaches
Tintagel, of King Arthur fame
Boscastle, a picturesque little harbour
Port Isaac, a very popular little fishing village
Padstow/Rock, another major tourist resort

These are just a few ideas of what is available Locally in this part of Cornwall, for those wishing to tour further many major attractions are within an easy drive.
