Local Attractions
As Cornwall's premier resort Newquay offers sport and leisure activities for all ages and tastes. If it's a family holiday that interests you then the area abounds with golden sandy beaches, sea world, a zoo and a variety of other entertainment's. For the young and active there is surfing, golf, coastal walks and cycling on the nearby Camel trail and Cornish way and nightlife that is the best in the county. If its Touring and sightseeing that interests you then Newquay is an ideal centre from which to discover the rest of Cornwall. From Lands End in the far west to Bude in the north and the Lizard in the south all are comfortably accessible in a day.

Towan Beach
Situated within a stones throw of the town centre.
The most sheltered all Newquay’s beaches and the most suitable for young children.
The sand is very smooth and as the whole beach is tidal is very compact and suitable for ball games
A shallow tidal swimming pool (as seen above) is situated under the Island and very popular with children.
Toilets/refreshments/deck chairs available on the beach front.
