large bathroom which overlooks the garden.

About us
The Cribbage is an 18th Century cottage in the centre of the
small historic market town of St Columb Major. We are 5 minutes
from Newquay airport and being in the heart of Cornwall, an
ideal base from which to explore.
Cornwall has everything to offer the tourist. Beautiful beaches
and surfing, National Trust properties, private houses with
their amazing gardens, galleries and historic fishing villages.
From 'The Cribbage' you can visit the Eden Project, ride the
Camel Trail and spend time on the beach as well as enjoying an
evening out all, in one day.
We offer computer wireless facilities.
Before starting your day's chosen activities, sustain yourself
with the renowned Cribbage breakfast. Select your breakfast the
evening before and the time you would like it. Individual choice
catered for where possible. Served either in the dining room or
in the garden (weather permitting!)
Caroline is always delighted to meet new people and welcome back
previous guests and can answer queries and advise on routes and
itineraries.
Lifts are available to and from the airport, train stations
(Bodmin Parkway), and to nearby restaurants. There are also
local taxis.
The Cribbage is available to rent as a house over Christmas. It
would suit one or two families as it sleeps up to 10 and has 2
bathrooms, a large kitchen and 2 reception rooms.
Local Amenities
St Columb Major has 4 public houses, restaurants and takeaways,
a library and a beautiful old church.
There are also 2 convenience stores and 2 banks, Barclays and
Lloyds TSB. In addition a flower shop, antiques shops, pet store
and DVD rentals.
Buses and coaches run frequently offering links to other areas.

How To Find Us
The A30 is the main arterial road in Cornwall
Follow the A30 West bound through the newly constructed dual
carriageway, take the A39 NORTH towards Wadebridge (exit at
Indian Queens)
Follow the dual carriageway to the next roundabout
Take the 3rd Exit still staying on the A39 NORTH
At the next roundabout (Trekenning) take the 2nd exit signposted
St Columb Major
You are now entering the top of St Columb Major on Fair Street
On the right side of the road you will see the Silver Ball
Public House.
Park anywhere on the right hand side of the road, there is also
a free car park.
We are two doors down from the Silver Ball public house at
number 15

The North Coast has a rugged feel with fantastic coastal walks

At the Cribbage you are within 10 - 15 minutes of a number of
beaches.

The picturesque coastal path; recommended for any level of
