Cornish country village of Golberdon, near Callington, yet is only a short drive from the seaside.

See England's countryside at its best with panoramic views towards Bodmin Moor over the Lynher valley. At Swallows Rest Bed and Breakfast you are right out in the country yet only a short drive from many beautiful pictures, the popular market towns of Tavistock, Liskeard and Launceston and countless other places of interest.

Swallow’s Rest has two ensuite bedrooms – one double and one twin. Each is comfortable,
peaceful, stylishly furnished and has colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There’s a guests lounge where you can relax whenever you like. And, if you fancy a snack, just ask!

How to get here:

Swallows Rest is perfect for exploring the area. There are so many fantastic places to visit in Cornwall —and all within an easy half hour drive!
(25 minutes from Looe, 10 miles from Tavistock and Launceston)

The National Trust Property, Cotehele House is just a 10 minute drive away. The gardens, with their
medieval dovecote, Victorian summer house and 18th-century tower, are glorious. Take a riverside walk and enjoy a cream tea on the quayside.

Golf St Mellion International Golf and Country club with its famous Jack Nicklaus-built course is just a 10 minute drive. Let us book a tee-time for you. Or, if a leisurely swim and sauna is more your style then St Mellion’s Leisure Club is ideal. A whole range of pampering treatments are available at their Skin Care and Spa Centre.
