Welcome to Swallows Rest!

This little gem is tucked away in the picturesque
Cornish country village of Golberdon, near Callington, yet is only a short drive from the seaside.

See England's countryside at its best with panoramic views towards Bodmin Moor over the Lynher valley. At Swallows Rest you are right out in the country yet only a short drive from many beautiful pictures, the popular market towns of Tavistock, Liskeard and Launceston and countless other places of interest.

Our self catering mobile home sleeps 2/4 and is sited adjacent to the main property.
Facilities consist of a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchette/diner and lounge (c/w bed- settee).

The views from the lounge overlook the Liner valley to Bodmin Moor.

Cooking facilities include an oven and microwave. Other appliances are fridge, freezer,
kettle, toaster together with cookware, cutlery, and crockery.
Please note that bedding and towels are not provided.

Outside facilities consist of off road parking, lawned area and garden table set.
The garden swing, slide, trampoline etc is also available for use for children (and for energetic
adults too!).

Rates £300/week peak season July & August.
£250 per week off peak.

INSURANCE
Our self catering mobile home accommodation is offered at your own risk. The accommodation is not insured for you or your belongings so please check your Home and Contents insurance to ensure you have suitable cover.

FIRE
For your comfort and safety you are requested not to smoke (including any naked flame).

TV
You are welcome to use the Television set provided in the accommodation. However you are required to have a current TV licence to legally operate it!

AMENITIES
We can recommend plenty of great Cornish country pubs and attractions nearby.

Swallows Rest is perfect for exploring the area. There are so many fantastic places to visit in Cornwall —and all within an easy half hour drive!
(25 minutes from Looe, 10 miles from Tavistock and Launceston)

The National Trust Property, Cotehele House is just a 10 minute drive away. The gardens, with their
medieval dovecote, Victorian summer house and 18th-century tower, are glorious. Take a riverside walk and enjoy a cream tea on the quayside.

Golf St Mellion International Golf and Country club with its famous Jack Nicklaus-built course is just a 10 minute drive. Let us book a tee-time for you. Or, if a leisurely swim and sauna is more your style then St Mellion’s Leisure Club is ideal. A whole range of pampering treatments are available at their Skin Care and Spa Centre.

The Eden Project at St Austell is heralded as the 8th wonder of the world. One of the UK’s top attractions, it’s an absolute must-see!

Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth
The National Maritime Museum – just opened the Falmouth harbour-side, transports you into the world of small boats and Cornish maritime history. Explore Falmouth for a day - here's one of its lovely beaches!

The City of Plymouth with its historic Mayflower Steps. The bustling Barbican is a great place to sit and watch the world go by over a glass of wine.

The wide open spaces of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor offer wonderful walks and bracing fresh country air.

The seaside town of Padstow – If you love seafood, treat yourself to fish and chips or maybe dinner or at Rick Stein’s famous restaurant
