Gorran Haven is a quiet seaside village very popular with those seeking a relaxing peaceful holiday. Once found, visitors tend to return year after year.
The bungalow is only a short walk to 2 sandy beaches and a beautiful walk along the cliffs to the little known Vault beach. The area is renowned for its excellent walks and many return on a regular basis just for this attraction.
Good shore fishing can be enjoyed from the small pier, the beaches and the rocks.
A short drive
The Lost Gardens of Heligan - As publicised on the television. Their web site can be seen on the front page of this site under 'Attractions'
Mevagissey - a picturesque working fishing village and very popular with visitors from all over the world. It offers numerous speciality shops, restaurants, pubs, boat and fishing trips, including a foot passenger ferry to Fowey. ( A very nice trip and well recommended)
Numerous little sandy coves down narrow winding lanes leading to long walks along windswept headlands.
A wide choice of country pubs and restaurants.
Eden Project - recently voted the third most popular attraction in the Country.
Good shopping at nearby St Austell with major supermarkets of Asda and Tesco on the A390.
