In 1980, a redundant hay barn was sympathetically converted into three cottages, which in 1982 won the county Landowners and Cosira award.
Occasionally, people remark that our leaflet does not do the cottages justice! We warmly invite you to come to judge for yourself and to meet our 'regulars'! We are confident that you will not be disappointed and hope that you enjoy a happy, relaxed holiday with us.
Each cottage is very similar both externally and internally, each offers excellent accommodation for 1-7 persons. The spacious lounges have the original beams and stone wall of the old barn. They are fully carpeted and pleasantly furnished, with splendid views over the fields and down to the sea. Each is equipped with a colour television/video, and also a spare double bed, which goes into the wall behind a curtain when not in use. Opening off the lounges are modern fitted kitchens with electric cookers, fridge's, microwaves, irons, etc. Downstairs are two pretty bedrooms, one a double with additional single bed and the other with full-sized bunk beds. Bed linen is included and laundered free-of-charge for all beds except the cots. There is a bathroom with coloured bathroom suite. Freezer space available.
There are two large storage heaters in each cottage, also a radiant gas heater and other electric heaters. (Storage heaters, if needed, are included in the rental. Other electricity is by slot meter). A laundry room with automatic washer and tumble drier are available for your convenience. There is a large car park and fields for playing, walking dogs, etc.
Cots, high chairs and stair gates are available. These are free-of-charge. We would like previous notice of your requirements, please.
