Porth Cove is
friendly & relaxing accommodation in an enviable position high
on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic ocean, commanding
unobstructed views over Porth, Newquay Bay & coastline.
Directly
opposite are the golden sands of Whipsiderry bearch with access
to the award winning Porth Beach & Watergate Bay.
On the eastern side of Porth beach is Porth island, the site of
an iron-age settlement which is linked to the mainland by a
footbridge, beneath it there are cavs which can be explored at
low tide, & is said was used by smugglers.
Our accommodation is made up of sixteen rooms all
en-suite, with a choice of single, double, twin & family rooms
many with stunning sea views. All rooms are tastefully decorated
each with colour TV, radio alarm, hair dryer, tea/coffee making
facilities. Our bar offers a range of beers, wines & spirits to
be enjoyed either in the bar or on the terrace while watching
the amazing sunsets, or just relax in our lounge admiring the
views.
Our
large private car park provides ample parking for all our
guests. For guests arriving by other means the coach & railway
stations are just 1 ½ miles away. Bus routes pass within 30
metres every 20 minutes.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES
There are a number of golf courses nearby plus tennis, bowls,
sailing & fishing. We also have the Extreme Academy at nearby
Watergate Bay where you can try you hand at surfing, windsurfing
& kitesurfing & much more. Alternatively, whilst in Newquay, why
not make a trip to the Zoo? Whatever you are looking for, it is
here to be found.

LOCAL AREA
Cornwalls north coast is something quite spectacular with
golden beaches, dramatic landscapes & picturesque fishing
villages. For those wishing to relax & soak up the sun there
are numerous award winning beaches on your doorstep, for the
more energetic the south west coastal footpath passes within
yards of Porth Cove. If you enjoy good food, we have Jamie
Oliver’s Fifteen a mere 20 minute walk away & Rick Steins
famous seafood restaurant is just a short drive.
There are magnificent gardens to see all year round in
Cornwall, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebay &, of course,
our famous Eden Project, to name but a few.
