Through 2006 the old farm buildings have been converted in to a state-of-the-art cookery workshop with a professional kitchen and luxury accommodation. From guest room to restaurant and from swimming pool to hot-tub the 5-star attention to detail shines through.
Cornwall has so many different things to
offer its visitors, from clean and inviting beaches to more
energetic beaches for surfing, semi-tropical gardens, quaint
fishing villages and lovely pubs and towns.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan : Explore the
recently re-discovered gardens of this country house. Lost
following the First World War, an ambitious project was
undertaken to bring these extensive gardens back to life, from
the walled gardens to 'the jungle'. (Approx 3 miles from Polsue)
Beaches: The county of Cornwall possesses the longest coastline of any county in the UK. The natural result is that there are a huge number of beaches to suit all tastes, some easily accessible for families, others a little more demanding for those who want more exclusivity.
Surfing : The serious surfing beaches are located on the north coast and centre around Newquay. However when the conditions are right, many of the south coast beaches may offer surf more suitable for the less experienced. Family beaches : Throughout the county are beaches that can be accessed directly from a car park. We will be happy to make recommendations for our guests.
Beaches for walkers : Likewise, if you
prefer to visit beaches that need a little exploring to find
then we can also give you some pointers! Cities, towns and villages :City : Truro, the only city in Cornwall offers its cathedral and excellent shopping. Towns : From one of the largest natural harbours in Europe, Falmouth possesses its own Pendennis castle, beaches and shopping. Villages : Numerous fishing villages such
as Mevagissey, Portloe, Fowey, Polperro are only a short
distance from Polsue. The village of St Mawes can also show you
its castle, across the bay from Pendennis or you might like to
visit the beautiful church at St Just-in-Roseland. If you would like to make a reservation, or would like
