miles away is the town of St Austell with it's main line
connections to London and other major cities. Bordering on the Roseland Peninsula, a beautiful corner of Britain that makes an ideal holiday destination. Cliff walks, beaches, hamlets and also numerous attractions when the weather is not so kind. Visit us here in the heart of Cornwall, an ideal place to base yourself to explore the region. There are many attractions nearby which will enthral you. From the multi-million pound Eden Project to the quaint havens which dot the coastline. Nearby Charlestown is a working harbour where often replica square sail ships can be inspected. The area is steeped in history, smuggling was a major income for some of the locals in the bygone age. There were also the wreckers who lured unwary captains onto the rocks. Tin mining played a big part in the local economy, many of the engine houses still dot the landscape. Nowadays the leisure trade is vital to Cornwall and many businesses have sprung up to cater for the annual influx of visitors. So even if the weather does not entice you to the beach there are always plenty of other attractions to keep the family occupied. The guesthouse has ample parking and sits in its own grounds and surrounded by beautiful countryside with an access to bridal way. We are within easy walking distance to the local hostelry and also easy reach of the supermarkets in St. Austell. There are four en suite bedrooms One king-size, two doubles and a single. Fully equipped with tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast room and visitors lounge with tv. The guesthouse sits in its own grounds.
