a picturesque rural setting in the delightful Tamar Valley.
The whole area has some lovely country walks down secluded
footpaths stretching along the River Tamar, the two views below
are just an example of what is available in this largely
undiscovered part of Cornwall.

The Accommodation:
Two large bedrooms, a double and a twin.
Both equipped with television and tea/coffee making facilities.
Bath robes are provided as each has its own adjoining private
bathroom. This is equipped with bath, shower, toilet and wash
facilities.
A full English breakfast is served in the
dining area. Various options are available including vegetarian
and continental.
A three course evening meal can be provided by arrangement. Your
host is an excellent cook providing good 'country cooking'.
Local fresh produce is used where-ever possible.
Access to rooms at all times.
Ample private parking.
Strictly non smoking.
I am sorry, there are no facilities for pets.

Directions:
From the Tamar Bridge at Plymouth follow the A390, enter the
Saltash tunnel.
At the first roundabout take the 3rd exit (A388).
Continue on the A388 for about 4 miles.
At Hatt roundabout carry straight on for approximately 1 mile.
Turn right, sign posted Landulph and Cargreen
Turn right at the next T junction
Continue for 1 mile
Approximately after 1 mile you will see two cottages on your
left.
Penhaye is the next house on the left....go through the gates to
park.

Locally:
Enjoy lovely walks down footpaths leading down to the River
Tamar (maps available).
Although Penhaye is in a lovely rural location, in Cornwall most
places are within easy reach.
The city of Plymouth with the Roscoff Ferry, excellent shopping
and boat trips at the Barbican is only a 20 minute drive across
the River Tamar.
The famous St Mellion Golf Course is only a 10 minute drive.
Local National Trust properties include:
Cotehele House - 15 mins
Saltram House - 30 mins
Morwellham Quay - 30 mins
Lanhydrock House - 45 mins
Both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are just a 30 minute drive away.
Going slightly further afield the Eden Project is just under the
hour.
The beautiful Rame Peninsula with a host of beaches, coves and
headlands is only a short drive.
Your host is local to the area having farmed land overlooking
the River Tamar for many years, she will be only too please to
suggest places of interest or that good walk.
