Penhaven Touring Park is set in a valley of outstanding natural beauty between St Austell and Pentewan, only one mile from a beautiful sandy beach. This quiet, clean, family park is made up of three level, grassy paddocks, alongside the White River and King's Wood. A warm, friendly welcome awaits you from Ian and Angela Hackwell, who personally run the site and combine a homely and peaceful atmosphere with modern camping and caravanning facilities. They deliberately do not have a bar on site, in order to preserve the peace and quiet of the area, and to encourage their visitors to sample the Cornish hospitality of the local inns and restaurants. The village of Pentewan itself offers a pub, restaurant, tea shop, post office, and beautiful beach, in a delightful and historic setting: all within easy reach via a riverbank and woodland walk from the site (or by cycle, for the more energetic!) |
