THE SITUATION
Penhale is a working beef; sheep and arable farm set in 240
acres of beautiful Cornish countryside and probably one of the
only places where you can stay in beautiful and peaceful
surroundings yet be central to the many delights Cornwall has to
offer. Whether you have come to Cornwall to wind down and
re-charge your batteries; see the tourist attractions or perhaps
even try your hand at surfing, Penhale Farmhouse is the place to
stay.
Our tastefully decorated rooms have either en-suite bathrooms or
an adjacent private bathroom. We have tried to think of
everything that you will need to make your holiday with us that
little bit "special" and are always on hand to help should you
require anything further. Relax in front of the log fire with a
good bottle of red wine or chill out in our hot tub under the
stars. Meander around our gardens or take a stroll around the
farm. Depending on the time of year you stay with us, as a
working farm there is always something to see; bottle feeding
the lambs in February; sheep shearing in June or watch the
combine harvester at work in August.
After enjoying the countryside and breathing in the fresh,
unpolluted air, you will find you will sleep like a baby and
wake up feeling refreshed and looking forward to our hearty
farmhouse breakfast.
We can also provide a light supper at an additional cost for
those evenings when you have just eaten too much during the day
and don't want to venture off again for an evening meal. Menus
are available on request.
