Stable Cottage is a Grade II listed building in the grounds of The Old Rectory. Situated in the quiet hamlet of St Mewan on the outskirts of the market town of St Austell.
It has been beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard and offers excellent self catering accommodation for 4 persons.

The gardens

The accommodation consists of:
One double bedroom
One twin bedroom
Bathroom with bath/shower attachment/toilet

These are on the ground floor with one of the bedrooms having direct access into the garden

1st floor:
A large open plan room incorporating:

Fitted Kitchen which includes Dishwasher/washing machine/fridge-freezer/electric oven/microwave/generous supply of utensils etc.

Directions
Take the A390 west from St Austell towards Truro. Approximately 1/4 mile from the town take a right hand turn signposted St Mewan the turning being alongside St Mewan school.
Proceed to a right hand junction and turn up the hill towards St Mewan church.
The Old Rectory is opposite the church.
Our entrance is around the left hand bend at the top of the hill.

Polkerris - Between St Austell & Fowey A sheltered little cove with soft sand that shelves very gently Toilet facilities nearby The beach has the added advantage of having a good pub. This has a seating area directly overlooking the beach, the walls of which act as a breakwater at high tide Breakwater wall - fishing for mackerel, flounders on high water
