The Old Post Office as its name suggests was the village post office and general stores until closure in 1992 a large rambling house full of character situated in the quiet hamlet of Treverva, perfectly located for walking the many footpaths that abound the area, yet only an 8 minute drive to Falmouth with its town and beaches and the Helford passage perfect for a boat ride down the river to Frenchman's creek.

Your stay at The Old Post Office is guaranteed to be peaceful and relaxing with the views of the surrounding country side. The en suite rooms all have Tea and coffee making facilities with free view TV wireless broadband.

Full English breakfast is a speciality with all produce locally sourced and cooked on the Aga range, other options are also available.

The Helford Passage is one of the most tranquil and beautiful places in Cornwall. The Old Post Office is perfectly situated for lovely walks along local beaches and headlands.

Falmouth has the world’s 3^rd deepest natural harbour. The town has a proud maritime history flourishing in the 18^th and 19^th centuries carrying passengers to the West Indies, Europe and the Americas. Its maritime importance is still retained today, hosting international and national sailing events. Carrick Roads is where the main channel of the River Fal meets the sea.  It is a broad sheltered deep-water area regularly used by ocean going vessels including liners. Falmouth town is a very busy centre with a good mixture of shops with specialist outlets, high street names, art galleries, cafes and restaurants.
