Meet the Plaisters in their idyllic Cornish retreat:
Please click the links to choose from bed & breakfast or self catering

You have a choice!
We can offer traditional B&B - we have 2 very spacious double rooms with their own lounge and guests are offered a choice of a full English or continental breakfast, OR…
Book our brand new self-catering annex complete with its own kitchen and en-suite facilities. Then again…
We can also provide a room-only option (within the B&B) if guests are travelling with visitors who book the Annex.
Both the B&B and the Annex/Studio have their own separate entrances.

Pets: dogs are welcome subject to availability of Kennel / prior arrangement. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate them in the house. Our cat T.C and dog Blue, a German shepherd (who thinks he’s human), both live outside. Blue is extremely friendly and will welcome you here at the farm

Gill and John Plaister offer the perfect place to escape and relax situated well and truly off the beaten track. Merther (martyr) Uny (St Euny) Farm combines comfortable accommodation with traditional B&B for a peaceful rural retreat. Also available is a Studio/annex for 2 people with a fully equipped kitchen and en-suite shower facilities. Both the B&B and the Annex/Studio have their own separate entrances.

Merther Uny is in a small hamlet at the end of a no-through road approached along traditional high banked lanes, the grade 2 listed stone cottage (formerly a farm or manor house) dates pre 1800’s and is near the site of a Chapel named after the Cornish Saint Euny which decayed in 1584. All that remains is a round headed stone cross marking the site of his martyrdom or burial place.

Set in this private secluded location, we are surrounded by fields and woodlands. Away from roads and traffic, the surrounding area offers a year-round wealth of walks and wildlife with direct access to a bridleway / public footpath. The hidden and unspoilt spot provides peace and tranquility, with picturesque views over the wide open countryside towards the Lizard Peninsular.
