The Situation

The Lynton house
 is situated in one of the best positions in Newquay, overlooking the Killacourt, an open grassed area for relaxing, and the unique 'Island' on Towan Beach.

This area lends itself to a changing scenic atmosphere, from good sunbathing and beach games for all ages, to the excitement of the high tides, breaking between the Island and Headland.

It's an inspirational part of holidays in Cornwall, especially on the north Coast.

The Accommodation

From our windows can be seen the coastline stretching to Trevose Head near Padstow 12 miles away.

Now well established in our house we have refurbished our rooms to standards as approved by the houses Association, which are held in high regard. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished, have H&C, shaver points, and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms are en-suite, all have colour television and central heating throughout.

The residents lounge has colour television and adjoins a small but cosy bar creating a pleasurable atmosphere.

All guests are provided with keys allowing freedom to come and go as they please.

Parking is limited on the forecourt, but other cars may be parked closeby on the Crescent.

All cuisine is under personal supervision of the proprietors, and we endeavour to maintain a friendly service, plentiful food with choice of menus, giving you an enjoyable holiday.

Terms and Conditions Rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. We ask for full payment of your account on arrival. Guests are liable for any damage incurred during their stay. Cars are parked at the owner’s risk. The management cannot be held responsible for valuables left in the property. No allowances will be made for late arrivals or early departures. A cancellation fee will be charged should you cancel within one month of your holiday also regrettably deposits are non-refundable, for this reason we do recommend that you take out holiday insurance. No allowances will be made for meals not taken or accommodation vacated early.

Local attractions:

The Newquay area boasts seven sandy beaches and world wide recognition for its surfing championships.

Less than a two minute walk from the Lynton is the town centre, with a good variety of shops and amusements.

The coast path in either direction enhances the beauty of Cornwall, and many short walks inland take you to outstanding countryside which the beach visitors often miss.

The Gannel Estuary, Trenance Leisure Park, Zoo Boating Lake, Sea-Life Centre, two leisure pools, tunnels through time, golf courses, sea and coarse fishing, bird-watching, water-sports and plentiful pubs and discos for the young at heart. All are close at hand, as you would expect from Cornwall's premier resort.

Coach and bus services stop close to The Lynton whilst the rail link is a few minutes. away.
