delightful award winning Village of St Neot which nestles in the
beautiful Loveny Valley on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor.
Centrally located for touring the North and South coasts of
Cornwall, and just 16 miles from the Eden Project. Lovely walks
to be enjoyed on and around Bodmin Moor.
The Accommodation
The Guest Room accommodation is tastefully presented, sunny and
south facing with a Queen size bed and an en-suite shower room
equipped with power shower.
A patio door provides a lovely view of the village and
surrounding countryside stretching up to Bodmin Moor.
The room is quite spacious with generous wardrobe space, a
comfortable seating area, television and hospitality tray. A
hair dryer is provided in the room and ironing facilities are
available on request.
Walkers are welcome - Lyndon has a utility boot room facility
for bad weather clothing.
The combined breakfast room/lounge is tranquil and spacious.
Guests can enjoy a lovely countryside view while taking
breakfast, or when relaxing on comfortable sofas in the lounge

A traditional full English breakfast is normally provided,
commencing with fruit compote or fresh fruit with yoghurt,
and/or cereals, and home-baked bread whenever possible. A
selection of alternatives to the main breakfast is available,
subject to notice the evening before.
Lyndon does not provide evening meals, but the famous old

Locally:
Enjoyable walks can be enjoyed direct from the house with an
excellent pub with good meals to come back to.
This pretty village is just off the main A38 trunk road between
Bodmin and Liskeard. Both of these popular market towns are just
a short drive away. They each offer reasonable shopping with a
good selection of tea rooms/restaurants and pubs.
St Neot is also on the edge of the Bodmin Moor, a favourite with
walkers exploring this rugged terrain with various Tors, Lakes
and reservoirs. It has a beautiful church famous for its
pre-reformation stained glass windows, one public house and a
small shop/sub-post office.
Within a short drive:
No-where is far in cornwall and most places can be reached
within an hour from Lyndon.
Some of the local attractions include:
Jamaica Inn - high on the moor.
Lanhydrock House - owned by the National Trust and a favourite
destination for many.
The Eden Project
Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The north and south coasts of Cornwall are within easy reach,
with Looe and Polperro to the south and Padstow and Rock to the
north. Take a trip to Rock, enjoy the walk along the shoreline
and catch the passenger ferry to Padstow and have a good meal in
one of the many restaurants.
Places like Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle, Fowey/Mevagissey/Newquay
are all within an easy drive.
Any doubts as to where to go, just ask your hosts, they are
local to the area and will be only too pleased to help.
