The Situation

Situated on the Devon & Cornwall border midway between Dartmoor and the Cornish moors and an ideal base for Touring both counties.

The original farmhouse dates from the 17th century but modernisation over the years has ensured that it has enjoyed the benefits of modern comforts and amenities, whilst retaining the character and charm of the traditional Cornish long farmhouse.

The Broad family have worked this 180 acre farm since 1897 consisting of cattle, sheep and a few hens.   Children love to watch the farming activities, especially at lambing time in early Spring.   Guests are welcome to walk around the pretty course fishing lake, and along the River Tamar which borders three of the farms fields.   You may even see Kingfishers, herons and buzzards or wild deer (there are even some white deer).
