The Situation
Tony and Lorraine welcome you to Little Gwendreath Holiday Cottages. We live as residents on the site and will be pleased to help you with any queries or problems you may have during your stay with us.

The holiday properties are situated at Gwendreath on the popular Lizard peninsula in the Southwest of Cornwall, just 10 miles from the historic market town of Helston, famous for its floral dance.

The Lizard Peninsula Cornwall is the most southerly part of the British mainland. It's a unique landscape of extensive heathlands, cliffs, woodland, creeks and sandy beaches.

The mild climate and unusual geology landscape have created an area of outstanding nature conservation interest. Over 250 species of national or international importance are found here, many of which are restricted to the region.

In the clean water surrounding the Peninsula, seals, dolphins and plankton - eating basking sharks can often be seen.

This is a delightful part of the country for walking, horse riding, bird watching, and exploring. Kennack Sands has two fine sandy beaches offering safe bathing and surfing.

Divers can enjoy the clear water's and dive the numerous reefs and wrecks along this coast and The Manacles.

Please contact us for further information on the local area.

We are open all year. Out of season we offer short breaks with flexible start dates. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The cottages are situated in a peaceful location, adjacent to the Gwendreath Valley English Nature Reserve. They have two bedrooms and comfortably sleep four persons. Bedroom one has a double bed and the second is a twin bedded room. Linen is provided and the beds are made up ready for your arrival.
