Our six cottages, are all fully equipped and comfortably furnished to create a wonderful country atmosphere. They are in a unique position for sampling the delights of the Cornish countryside with marvellous walks across the rolling hills and working farms and into the stunning grounds of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House. Centrally located and nestling at the head of the beautiful Fowey River valley, we are in an enviable position of being 10 miles from the award winning Eden Project, 15 miles from the dramatic rugged cliffs, surf and sandy beaches of the north Cornwall coastline and 10 miles away from the softer south coast with its picturesque fishing villages and hidden creeks lovingly captured in the books by Daphne Du Maurier. We aim to cater for everyone and provide you with a very comfortable and relaxing environment during your stay. Ford Farm Cottages are a series of converted granite barns that formed the original farmyard. Set at the end of the stone farm lane in a secluded valley bounded by a stream, they have easy access to the footpaths that wander through the beautiful grounds of the National Trust Lanhydrock House, extending down to the lovely Fowey river valley. Each cottage has its own patio area with garden bench/table on the outward side. There are also shared areas of open lawn and a barbeque area beside the stream.
