Breakfast is usually served every day
between 08:30 and 09:15 (but we try to be as flexible as
possible) in the galleried dining room, where it is brought to
your table. Where possible, we use locally sourced, organically
grown produce.
They say breakfast is the most important meal
of the day and here at Lambriggan Court we agree wholeheartedly.
You will not leave the table hungry. Guests remark that they
often do not eat again until the evening (unless of course they
pass a Cornish pasty shop and then it’s irresistible!).
On offer
-
Chilled fruit juice.
-
A selection of cereals, organic porridge,
freshly made seasonal fruit salad and/or thick organic
Westcountry yogurt.
-
Free-range eggs from our own hens, bacon and
sausages from our local butcher (Chapmans in Perranporth),
mushrooms, oven-baked tomatoes (grown locally in Bolingey
when in season), Heinz baked beans (optional).
-
Warm, lightly spiced Cornish
hevva buns (pronounced
“heavy”).
-
Our speciality dish—Eggs Benedict (hot
toasted muffins, bacon, our own free-range eggs, topped with
delicious Maille hollandaise
sauce). Served without bacon on request.
-
Warm croissants
and mouth-watering pain au chocolat.
-
Hand-cut organic toast and creamy butter and
home-made preserves laden with fruit from our neighbour in
Callestick.
-
A selection of English breakfast tea, Earl
Grey, Twinings fruit teas, etc.,
or a bodum of freshly-brewed Taylors of Harrogate smooth
roasted coffee.
We will do our best to cater for special diets,
by prior arrangement.
Other meals
We do not provide any other meals, but there are many good
restaurants and pubs nearby. One of the local pubs, the Miners
Arms at Mithian, will transport you to and from the pub free of
charge, if you give them 24 hours’ notice.
