Ivy Lodge is a large country barn which has been converted to a
very high standard sitting in its own extensive grounds. It
offers excellent value en-suite accommodation in rural
surroundings but only a quarter of a mile from the main A390.
It is conveniently situated for touring or a restful holiday
between the market town of St Austell and the popular resort of
Fowey.
The accommodation:
Two en-suite double rooms, one having a bath/toilet, the other a
shower/toilet.
Both rooms are equipped with television/complimentary
refreshment tray with tea/coffee. and hairdryer.
Guests are provided with a key and have access at all times
Large lounge/dining area with comfortable
seating/television/reading material.
Guests are also quite welcome, when the weather is fine, to sit
and relax in the garden which is a real suntrap.
A generous full English breakfast is served with various options
available including Continental.
There is a no smoking policy within the house
There are no facilities for pets.

Lost Gardens of Heligan - 25 mins drive
The ancient town of Lostwithiel with Salmon
fishing/golf/restaurants/pubs/river walks is about 10 mins drive
These are just a few suggestions of local attractions, the
owners are local to the area and will be only too happy to
recommend that good place to eat or visit.
Touring
Cornwall is a beautiful county, but quite small, most places can
be reached from Ivy Lodge within an hours drive, this includes
resorts such as Looe/Newquay/Padstow/St Ives

From the A30 turn off before Bodmin, follow the brown sign for
Lanhydrock. Turn onto the B3268 and B3269. Follow until the 'T'
junction with the A390 and turn right. Follow the A390 and you
will come to a steep hill down into Tywardreath Highway, you
will then come to a railway crossing. Immediately before this
turn left. Follow for about a quarter of a mile and at the top
of a hill on a tight right turn, between Kilhallon Farm and Rose
Cottage, turn left into a lane and follow to the end.
