The situation: Hay Barton is ideally
situated on the Roseland Peninsula, close to the Eden Project,
Heligan Gardens, numerous other famous gardens, fabulous
National Trust beaches and excellent walks. The City of Truro is
only a 15 minute drive away and St. Mawes, 20 minutes.
The Jobson family have farmed here for over 40
years and we still run a beef herd, a flock of sheep and grow
barley.
Our breakfasts are served in the dining room
with a slate floor and log fire in winter. We use the best
oflocal produce:organic milk and butter: our
own eggs from Maran chickens: sausages and bacon from
Lobbs Farm Shop at
Heligan..
We have an all-weather tennis court which our
B&B guests are welcome to use
The Accommodation:
Hay Barton can provide two comfortable and
well-furnished, centrally heated, en-suite bedrooms. Both rooms
can be either twin rooms or zip-linked to make 6' Superking
beds. All the beds have pocket-sprung mattresses and sheets and
blankets from The White Company.
The en-suite bathrooms both have re-furbishes 6' antique roll
top cast iron baths. White Company towels and soap, shower gel,
body lotion and shampoo from Floris.
Both bedrooms have facilities to make tea, coffee, chololate
etc. and there is a hair drier, clock and radio in each room.
There is a separate sitting room for guests to use with a
television and kettle with tea, coffee and home baked cake
available. In winter there is a log fire.
Tariff
The price for a double bedroom is £40 per person per night and
£50 per person for a single room.
These prices include breakfast.
Children by arrangement, but no smoking or pets, please.

Directions:
From Tregony village take the A3078 towards St Mawes. Hay Barton
is one mile on the left hand side from Tregony. There is a slate
sign at eye level at the end of the farm lane. There is also a
holly tree and a road traffic triangle bend sign and the word
SLOW on the road. The farmhouse is 100 yards down this lane.
