WALKING Below are
three of the great walking and cycling holidays we
offer...The
Hideaway Route (10 - 18 km per day)
The Hideaway Route offers a minimum of 2 days of
walking through luscious fields, forgotten forest,
along peaceful country lanes and passing through a
number of Devon and Cornish villages and along
Heritage Coastal footpath. There is an option for
extra nights with walks that proceed to the historic
Hartland Abbey and the uniquie cliff-side village of
Clovelly.
Accommodation includes a home-cooked farmhouse
dinner, a hearty English Breakfast and a packed
lunch to take on your daily walk. This route is
fully inclusive and includes luggage transfer.
What's more, this route is children-friendly, so
makes a a great holiday for all the family! Moderate
to strenuous walking.
Moors to Sea Route
(14 - 18 km per day)
The Moors to Sea route gives you the opportunity to
explore the beauty of Exmoor, with it's bracken
covered valleys, wide expanses of heather and grass
moorland, spectacular cliffs and wooded valleys.
After 3 nights and 2 days walking on the moor you
then transfer to the seaside town of Lynmouth with
it's own unique cliff railway where walks take you
along the river to Watersmeet or to the spectacular
Valley of Rocks.
Accommodation is shared between 3 nights in a
Country Inn (moor) and 3 nights in a hotel (sea).
B&B and Evening Meal. This route is suitable for
adults and children of 12 years and over. Moderate
to strenuous walking.
King Arthur’s Coast
Route (15 - 20km per day)
This route offers the peace and tranquillity of our
wonderful Heritage Coastline, stretching from the
seaside town of Bude to beautiful Tintagel -
legendary home of King Arthur. With it's rugged
coastline and ruins at Tintagel, it is easy to soak
up the the atmosphere and imagine the times of the
magical Merlin and the Knights of the round table.
