Greystones is a large Victorian house ideally located for bed
and breakfast. It has spectacular sea views from every window.

having been refurbished throughout to an excellent standard.
On the first floor there is a single room and an
adjacent double room, both sharing a private bathroom. These
rooms enjoy a side sea view. There is also an en-suite double
room with a spectacular sea view.
On the second floor, there is a family room with a wash-hand
basin, en-suite shower and adjacent toilet.
All rooms have colour television and tea-and-coffee-making
facilities.
It
is within easy walking distance of the village centre, beaches,
three traditional Cornish pubs/inns, restaurants and local
shops.

The Location:
Greystones, being situated in the picturesque fishing village of
Porthleven, and just two miles from the ancient market town of
Helston, is ideally situated as a base for exploring both the
whole of Cornwall and the local area.
Coastal walks do not only offer attractive scenery but support
an abundance of flora and forna. Walkers and hikers will find
Greystones a great place to stay when walking the magnificent
south west coastal footpath.
Well behaved pets are welcome. The nearby fields and
cliffs offer excellent opportunities to exercise pets whilst
enjoying the views.
Cornwall is fast becoming one of the U K's most popular holiday
locations, due to its natural beauty and the attractions it has
to offer.
Within very easy reach is the city of Truro, Falmouth, St Ives
and Newquay. St Michael's Mount, Penzance and Lands End are also
in easy reach. In addition there is the Lizard Peninsular and
the Helford estuary.
The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are popular
attractions.
There is plenty to see and do during the daytime before
returning to Porthleven for a relaxing evening. The village is
renowned for its eating houses, local sea food being a
speciality. Of course, you can't come to Cornwall without
sampling the cream teas and home made pasties cooked and served
in the village.
A selection of gift, craft and book shops make for an
interesting stroll along the harbour side leading out to the 70
feet high clock tower which is the home of the local snooker
club and council offices.
Porthleven is at the centre of Mount's Bay.
Just a few yards from the harbour is the beach.

you will discover a detailed display map of the area. The walk
takes you through the woodlands of Penrose Estate wich is
managed by the National Trust.
Loe Pool is the largest natural mass of fresh water to be found
in Cornwall.
