The Situation

Gilldene is next to Gillwood Bed and Breakfast set in its own extensive grounds, in an elevated position overlooking the Glynn Valley and River Fowey.
It is situated just off the A38 halfway between Liskeard and Bodmin, an ideal Touring base for both the north and south coasts.

The Accommodation

Complete with dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, ceramic hob with oven, refridgerator, microwave. 
Cottage is fully equipped including all bedding and towels. 

Cottage has 2 bedroom - one double en suite with power shower, 1 twin room with additional bathroom with power shower and bath.
Large lounge are with fully equipped kitchenette.

Directions
Join the A38 either from the Bodmin or Liskeard direction. Gilldene is mid way between the two towns. At this point you will see the 'Halfway House' country inn. Go into their car park and at the end of the pub wall there is a lane off to the right running alongside the River Fowey. Follow the lane for a short distance, Gilldene and Gillwood are the last house. When you pass through two wooden gate posts you're there! (approx 150 yards from car park) .

An excellent Country Inn with good food just a short walk away.

Excellent walks on Bodmin Moor, and also on the moor is the famous Jamaica Inn.

Lanhydrock House - (20 mins)
Newquay and north coast beaches - (40 mins)
South coast - Fowey, Mevagissey, beaches, - (40 mins)

Within an hour
Most of Cornwall can be reached from Gilldene with an hours drive including the cities of Plymouth and Truro. Both are excellent shopping centres.
Your hosts are local to the area and will be happy to advise on places of interest.
