Gekko Lodge is a contemporary newly renovated
Victorian house, located in St Ives, Cornwall. It is
situated overlooking the famous Porthmeor beach, with views
over the island towards Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond and to
the left Clodgy Point and the cliffs towards Zennor.
A short walk takes you into the town centre and other
attractions such as Porthmeor beach, The Tate Gallery,
Barbara Hepworth Museum and the many Art Galleries, Shops,
Pubs and Restaurants.
At Gekko Lodge we offer bed and breakfast, all of our
accommodation is contemporary and with all of our furniture
being bespokely made, it adds a sense of 'individuality'.
Our rooms are spacious, bright and airy with luxury
furnishings making your stay relaxing and memorable.
We are also very happy to accommodate surfers & kite surfers
and have storage for equipment, ideal as you can look out
the window to check the conditions!
Gekko has FREE on-site parking and is a fully non-smoking
establishment.
The picturesque seaside town of St Ives is the ideal base
for your holiday, wether you like wandering through the
cobbled streets of many galleries and quaint shops, to
lazing on the beach, exploring the many cliff walks, and for
the adventurous there are many activities such as surfing,
kite-surfing and mountain biking.
The warm climate and blue seas give St Ives a Mediterranean
feel, which you can relax and enjoy on one of our many award
winning beaches.
St Ives also boasts some of the best restaurants in the
south west.
Further afield there are more attractions such as St
Michaels Mount, Lands End, The Minnack Theatre, Isles if
Scilly and The Eden Project.
Our Rooms : We have 2 spacious bright rooms, designed
to the highest standards and with amazing views, both have
en-suite wetrooms with luxury showers and naturally made
toiletries.
Both rooms are equipped with:
Bespoke beds with eqyptian cotton bedding, feather down
duvets and pillows and large fluffy white towels.
Seating areas to relax and admire the views.
LCD TV with digital.
DAB Radio alarm clock with i-dock.
Cafetiere coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas.
Wireless internet connection s available.
Room 1 is a spacious Kingsize/Family room with a fantastic
seaview over Porthmeor beach and towards Godreavy
Lighthouse.
Room 2 is a large double room looking down towards
Peorthmeor beach and the island.
Toiletries are supplied by 'Essence of Serenity' which are a
range of natural and hand made beauty and bathroom
essentials.

- for July to Sept please add £5 per person per night for
1-2 night stay). Please note there is a minimum 3 night
booking for July & August and bank holidays.
Children aged 4 - 16 will be charged at half
price. Children aged 3 and under are free and a cot is
avaiable.
A surcharge is payable for single occupancy
please ask for details.
Breakfast is served between 8.15 and 9am but can be
served earlier by arrangement.
