The Situation

A beautiful old cottage full of character, some parts dating back to the 17th century. Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Marhamchurch and just 2 miles from the major resort of Bude.

The Accommodation
Most of this old cottage dates back to the 17th century and retains much of its character. It has been tastefully decorated and furnished in keeping with its age.
The main guests accommodation consists of two en-suite bedrooms:
A large sunny double bedroom with triple aspect. En-suite bathroom and shower. Television, tea/coffee making facilities.
A second large, south facing bedroom with king size bed and television, tea/coffee making facilities, built in wardrobes. Private bathroom, this bedroom leads on to a smaller bunk bedroom so is ideal for a family of four, or of course, just couples.
Large tastefully furnished sitting/dining room with television/videos, music centre etc. This is private and separate to the rest of the house and just for the use of guests.
A full English breakfast is served with various options available. Your host is renowned for her cooking and is continually commended for her breakfasts.

Local attractions:

Situated in the quiet little rural village of Marhamchurch, within an easy walk of a popular pub/restaurant. The pub is highly commended, specialising in real ales and food for all tastes, this can be taken in the bar or in the romantic candlelit restaurant.

The popular resort of Bude is just 2 miles away, renowned for its superb surfing and sandy beaches along with its quiet rocky coves.
The town offers a range of activities including, tennis, bowls, squash, horse riding and fishing. Bordering the town is a demanding 18-hole links golf course.
Good shopping and a large selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms are always available.

Neighbouring Bude is Widemouth Bay, a world famous surfing beach, patrolled by lifeguards during the summer. A paradise for children with a beautiful stretch of golden sand and interesting rock pools at low tide.

Touring
Cornwall's latest major attraction The Eden Project is 50 mins. drive.
Numerous sandy beaches, coves, little villages, headlands to walk and explore.
Numerous National trust properties.
To the south are the popular picture book villages of Port Isaac, Port Quinn, Polzeath, Boscastle and Tintagel.
To the north there is the old world charms of Clovelly and the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor.
