The 'Eel Trap' is a recently completed charming 'New England' style property that offers adaptable accommodation being attached to the owners house yet offering complete privacy. Situated in an excellent position being just a stones throw from the beautiful River Fowey, an easy walk to the ancient town of Lostwithiel and a short drive to the popular port of Fowey.

The Accommodation

Having recently been completed, the property is new in every respect and has been decorated and furnished to a high standard.
An excellent fitted kitchen/lounge area featuring an open exposed cathedral ceiling.
The kitchen provides:

Bed linen provided, for self-catering please bring your own towels

For bed and breakfast guests a full English breakfast is served (various options available) in a separate dining area.

Spacious double bedroom with baby cot available.

The lounge: Comfortable 4 seater settee with Television/Video/DVD Player. Open access to an exposed, covered south facing sun deck overlooking a large private garden.
A BBQ is also available for guests.

Shower room, toilet facilities.

Directions
Lostwithiel is on the main A390 Plymouth to St Austell road. 
On entering Lostwithiel from the Plymouth direction turn left into Fore Street at the traffic lights. At the bottom of this road turn right. Follow this road with the river on your left. After a short distance there is a low railway bridge with a lane leading into the right. Follow the lane and 'Leat House' is the 2nd on the left.

' Eel Trap' is in a private area on the edge of the small ancient town of Lostwithiel.
Situated within a stones throw of the Fowey River with excellent walks along its banks.
The river is one of the best Salmon/sea trout rivers in Cornwall and fishing is readily available. Permits can be obtained Locally. Rods can be provided for this purpose.
The town is just a short walk away and provides a variety of shops/restaurants and pubs. 
Golf: An excellent golf course on the banks of the Fowey.
Restormel Castle: A short drive or a lovely walk up the river.

Fowey: Lovely walks, speciality shops, restaurants, pubs. Foot passenger ferry to Polruan with further cliff and woodland walks. Foot passenger ferry to Mevagissey, a really nice trip along the St Austell Bay coastline.

Golant: A little riverside village with a good pub overlooking the river.

Lanhydrock House and Gardens: Very popular with locals and visitors alike.
