interesting mid-18th century farmhouse has great
character and enjoys an outstanding position.
Collon Barton is situated in rolling
countryside and has stunning views over the
creek side village of Lerryn.
Lerryn is just a 5 minute walk away along the
farm lane.
Guests may use the elegant sitting room,
which takes maximum advantage of the views and

On
the top floor, two super-king double
bedded rooms with wash basins in the
room, one with en-suite shower and
toilet, the other with en-suite bath
with shower over and toilet. These
rooms can be made to inter-connect for
families or friends.
On the first floor, a large super-king
double bedded room with adjacent private
bathroom with hand shower and toilet.
Comfortable and spacious all rooms
havecolour television and coffee/tea
making facilities. All double beds can
be made into twins on request.

Food
and Drink |

A full English breakfast is available, as well
as Locally produced kippers. Breakfast is
served in the farmhouse kitchen, which features
the largest single slate table you are ever
likely to see!
For other meals there is a wide variety of
excellent restaurants, hotels and pubs serving
food in the local area.
Within walking distance, the village of
Lerryn has a good pub with a restaurant and a
shop. |

Location |

| Collon Barton is about
½ a mile up a farm lane to the north of
Lerryn.
Lostwithiel is a short drive away and
St Austell is easily reached from there,
via the main A390 road. |

Directions By Road:
From the east - Take the A390 to
Lostwithiel. After passing the Lostwithiel sign
take the first left into Grenville Road signed
Lerryn 3 [and Great Western Industrial Estates/
Earl of Chatham]. 200 m at first Xroads go left
into Lanwithan Road [before pub] signed Lerryn 3
and St Winnow. After 2 miles, at top of hill
opposite small layby, go hard left signed Bodmin
and Liskeard. Go immediately right by wooden 5
bar gate into stone farm lane and down 3 fields
to Collon, the only farm at the bottom.
From the west - Leave Lostwithiel on A390
towards Liskeard. On the outskirts of town, go
over River Fowey and railway bridge. Take the
first right into Cott Road then 200m to first
Xroads, go straight over into Lanwithan Road
then as above.
SatNav - If you use SatNav, the postcode
will take you to the bottom of our back farm
lane. Keep up the hill to to the farm at the top

Leisure |

There are lovely riverside walks in this
locality, which can start from the front door of
Collon Barton farmhouse.
The choice of circular routes have varying
length and difficulty, all pass through unspoilt
Cornish countryside.

The Cornish Riviera resorts of Fowey, Looe and
Polperro are all about 20 minutes drive away, as
are The Eden Project and Lanhydrock.
Many other gardens, important houses and
attractions are within easy reach - the little
riverside church of St Winnow is only 5 minutes
away and is not to be missed! |
